My Work Philosophy:
Working with the whole body, mind, and spirit through a balance of intuitive and analytical approaches to treatment. Everyone arrives with different needs each day, and I listen and cater to the individuals to the best of my ability. I also learn from each person, every time they come in for a session.
Why I Practice Massage:
I am fascinated by ancient healing practices, the creative process, and holistic health. I love massage (giving and receiving!) and believe in its ability to allow the body to restore balance. I enjoy developing relationships with people while helping them connect with their bodies through movement and touch.
A Bit about Me:
I grew up in Portland, OR and moved to Bellingham, WA in 2006 to attend WWU. I graduated with a BA in 2010, began Pilates instructor training with Core Kinetics Pilates, went to massage school, and then started my practice inside of the Core Kinetics studio. I love the outdoors - hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and swimming. I also love art and music - I have played classical piano since childhood and more recently, picked up the ukulele. Traveling and adventure are wonderful - I enjoy exploring globally and locally. In March 2017, I returned from a seven month journey through the USA, Senegal, Spain, and Italy.
